Alison Price, Academic Registrar

Alison Price will be leaving the University at the end of May after almost thirteen years as Academic Registrar to pursue her passion for wildlife photography along with other interests.

Alison has led the Registry in such a way that it has made a significant positive contribution to the University’s strategic goals. She played a leading part in the Faculty Administrative Restructuring which was implemented in August 2010 working with Deans and Directors of Administration to ensure this major reorganisation was implemented effectively and on time.

During this time Alison developed Business Process Templates that were used in the Faculty Administrative Restructuring. This work was shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Leadership & Management Awards in 2010.

In addition to her role in the University Alison has played a role in the wider Higher Education Sector and for a number of years was Chair of the 1994 Group of Academic Registrars.

I would like to wish Alison every success in her new pursuits.

The temporary arrangements for the management of the Registry that have been put in place during Alison’s recent absence will continue until a permanent appointment to the post of Academic Registrar can be made.
