Thank you for a successful Open Day

I would like to offer my warmest thanks to all those who played a part in making Thursday’s Open Day such a success.

We welcomed an estimated 11,000 visitors onto campus yesterday and thankfully despite the forecast the day stayed dry throughout.

Whether you were involved in getting the campus looking its best, meeting and greeting our visitors or clearing up afterwards, I think we can all be proud of the way we represented our University.

I know the record numbers caused some traffic problems around Bath but the Lansdown Park and Ride worked smoothly this time, and the Open Day planning team will now be looking at ways we can further reduce the impact on traffic and travel for future Open Days.

We've already had some tremendous feedback, with many prospective students saying they feel inspired to study here.

Thank you once again for your help and support.
