Have you set up your electronic payslips yet?

On 21 August 2013 the University is introducing E-slips to all staff.  This is an email that contains a password protected copy of your payslip.

You can choose any email account and password you want to use to view your E-slip. The University has set the default as follows:
Email:  Your University of Bath email address i.e A.Nother@bath.ac.uk
Password: Your National Insurance no. i.e. AB123456C

You can also send any past payslip to your chosen email account and save them to a location of your choice. Just visit Employee Self Service (ESS) then:
1. Select Payroll
2. Select E-Form Preferences
3. Enter your email and password.
4. Click Save

Why are E-Slips being introduced?

Managing where you receive your pay data through ESS is more secure than the printed payslip - the system encrypts your password so no one else can view it.

E-Slips are much more sustainable, reducing our consumption of stationery and use of specialist machinery.

The system is tried and tested and now used extensively in other Universities.

What will happen to printed payslips?

Printed payslips will continue to be produced until January 2014, after which only the E-slip will be issued.

Where can I find out more?

Either visit www.bath.ac.uk/finance/payroll/ess/e-slips/index.html
