University hosts inaugural Chilli Festival

For those who like their food hot and spicy you will be pleased to hear that the University will be hosting Bath’s inaugural Chilli Festival on 5 and 6 October.

The event is being organised by recently retired Security Manager Richard Law with profits being split between the Students’ Union RAG Week charities and Emergency UK charity.

The festival site (located on the field beside the University’s West car park) will include a ‘chilli market’ with various traders selling a diverse range of chilli products from condiments to chocolate. There will be some non-chilli traders present for those who cannot take the heat!

There will also be musical entertainment and talks on the cultivation of chillies and chilli culture throughout the weekend.

Early bird tickets are and student discounts are now available.
