Death of Christopher Taylor

The University is saddened to announce that Christopher Taylor, a second year undergraduate Chemistry student, died on Thursday 23 January.

His body was recovered from the River Avon. The police, on behalf of the coroner, are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death but it is not believed to be suspicious.

Chris was a very popular student as well as an enthusiastic and energetic part-time tennis coach at the Sports Training Village.

Our thoughts are with his family and many friends at this very difficult time.
