Public lecture - Sustainability for professionals: 1 May

Find out more about our sustainability research at a public lecture to be held on Thu 1 May from 6-7pm in East Building 1.1.

This free lecture - Public lecture - sustainability for professionals - is linked to the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) of the same name which we are currently offering via FutureLearn.

It is aimed at anyone with an interest in sustainable development, not just those currently studying the MOOC.

Dr Emma Patterson from our Department of Chemical Engineering will start proceedings with an introduction to both the lecture and the online course.

Dr Steve Cayzer from our Department of Mechanical Engineering will talk about new innovations in sustainability and Dr Baris Yalabik from our School of Management will discuss sustainable development in an international context.

The lecture will be closed by Dr Tim Mays from our Department of Chemical Engineering who will outline the sustainability research currently taking place at the University.

No ticket is required for this event.

This event will be live-streamed Panopto.
