From February, the University will open its latest development in the centre of Bath.

The £4.5 million transformation of 18 Manvers Street will create a flexible learning zone with a Learning Commons that offers independent and group study space, an IT suite and two training rooms as well as a café.

Students will also be able to access a wide range of support from The Careers Service, Joblink, Students’ Union Student Development, Skills Centre and Student Services.

The Widening Participation Office will also join the Department of Finance & Procurement, which has been in the building since April 2015.

Meeting spaces will be available to book, offering modern facilities close to major transport links with onsite catering.

The building will be open seven days a week for study: 8am-10pm weekdays and 10am-8pm weekends.

This development responds to students’ requests for easy-to-access services in the City and increases the University’s presence in the centre of Bath.
