TEDX Youth came to Bath

The University sponsored the recent TEDxYouth @ Bath event - a day of discussion at The Forum for young people and students.

Over 900 young people enjoyed talks from YouTuber charlieissocoollike, BBC reporter Frank Gardner OBE, Guardian cartoonist Steven Appleby and many other inspiring speakers.

The idea behind TEDx is to encourage open discussion and shared ideas on a wide range of topics.

The first TEDx event took place in 2011 with only 120 participants. The event has grown and developed as has the momentum of the movement.

Roz Coombe attended the event and described the event as: "Absolutely amazing day at #TEDxBath. More events should be held and more people should attend. Truly inspiring."
