Thank you for a successful Open Day

A message from our Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Provost, Professor Bernie Morley:

Dear colleagues,

I would like to congratulate and thank everyone involved in another successful Open Day on Saturday.

It was another very busy day on campus with 10,000 visitors on campus.  The atmosphere on campus was lively and engaging and I heard a lot of positive comments from prospective students and their families.

Thanks to the hard work of everyone involved who help ensure the event runs so smoothly, including the events team and organisers in faculties, colleagues in estates, hospitality and security and our many student ambassadors - it really is a team effort.

So whether you were giving a talk, setting up in the early hours, leading a tour, staffing a stand in the Information Fair or welcoming visitors to campus, a huge thank you for all you have done. Your help and support is appreciated.

If you have any feedback about the Open Day, please do e-mail the events team.

Many thanks,

Professor Bernie Morley

Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Provost
