New students arriving on campus

On Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 September our new students will be arriving on campus.

This can be both an exciting and daunting time for them. We want to make sure that they all, whether undergraduate or postgraduate, feel welcome and supported from the moment they step onto our campus. Staff and current students from across the University will be working together to deliver Welcome Week - a comprehensive programme of talks and events to introduce life at Bath, and to make the new students feel at home.

Even if not directly involved in Induction events, we all have a role to play in making our new arrivals feel welcome and helping them settle in, both academically and socially, over the coming weeks. To support this, we have created a Useful Information for Welcome Week web page to help you answer any queries you may receive from new students. In addition there is an Outlook calendar listing the central Welcome Week events, which can be viewed by adding Welcome-Induction to your calendar.

Finally, thank you to all of those involved in planning the week’s events and welcoming our students to life at Bath.
