Adverse weather and exam contingency arrangements

With the possibility of snow in the coming days, it is appropriate (particularly for new students) to highlight the arrangements that the University has in place.

If the University is not able to be open as normal on a given day, a notice is posted on the University internal and external website homepages by 7.30am. It is also posted on the University’s Facebook (uniofbath) and Twitter (@uniofbath) accounts.  For those without web access, the University's severe weather helpline (a recorded message) would be updated on 01225 383200 by 7.30am.

If adverse weather causes cancellation of any of the January exams, then they would be rescheduled to either or both of the published contingency days which are Saturday 20 and 27 January 2018.

Read the University’s policy on staff attendance during adverse weather conditions.
