Sponsored by the Skills Centre, as part of a University-wide language learning initiative, Tschick is one of the many films you can find in our extensive film collection located on the entrance floor of the Library. Students and staff have 24/7 open access to over 3,500 films and can loan any DVD overnight free of charge.

Leading on the organisation of this event, Elke Pawlowski, German Teaching Fellow, Skills Centre, said:

I am delighted to be working in collaboration with the Bath German Society, with colleagues from across the University and the Students’ Union to create new language learning opportunities such as this one for students, staff and the local community. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about German language and culture, raising awareness of social, political and cultural issues in contemporary Germany through the medium of film.”
