Would you like to be Deputy Independent Adviser for PGRs?

Expressions of Interest are invited for one of two positions of University Deputy Independent Adviser for Postgraduate Research Students.  The role will become vacant on 1 October 2018 when Professor Marcelle McManus becomes the Independent Adviser.

Occasionally problems in connection with supervision or other issues may arise. Advice can be sought by PGR students from the University Independent Advisor for PGR Students or a Deputy Independent Advisor.

Discussions with the Deputy Independent Advisor are treated in strict confidence and the Deputy Independent Advisor will only make disclosures or make contact with others in the University or outside at the student’s request.

The time commitment is ca. 100 hours p.a.
