Asian earthquake: Advice for students and staff

The earthquake that struck close to Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-administered Kashmir on Saturday morning has caused widespread devastation in Kashmir and Pakistan. At least 20,000 people are thought to have been killed.

The International Office has already been in contact with students from the region affected by the earthquake in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. Where it is known that individual students and staff have been affected by these traumatic events, support is being put in place.

The information and advice outlined below is intended as a guide for all students and staff. Please do not delay in seeking help if either you, or someone you know, needs it.
