Students get creative to promote enterprise conference

Students Debbie Whitehouse and Gemma Payne have turned their hands to fashion design to help promote the Student Enterprise ’05 conference which is taking place at the University next week.

The pair, seen modelling their creations made from promotional postcards on the Parade yesterday lunchtime, are raising awareness of the free conference which will help students develop their business skills and outline the entrepreneurial opportunities available to them.

200 students from around the country will be taking part in the conference, which takes place on 11 November and is the first of its kind in the UK.

The conference has been organised by the Student Union’s entrepreneur club, BANTER, and is supported by the University of Bath, SET Squared Partnership, Bath Spa University, RDA Business West and Red Bull.

For more information and to register, visit the conference website.
