Expert comment on Iraq elections

On Thursday 15 December 2005 the Iraqi people will elect their first post-war full-term parliament, the Council of Representatives, in what is seen as a crucial stage in the re-building of the nation.

Stefan Wolff is Professor of Political Science at the University of Bath has extensive experience in post-conflict reconstruction of war-torn societies and has followed developments in Iraq closely over the past several years.

He is available for comment/interview from now until after the Iraq election.

Professor Wolff is a consultant to major national and international governmental and non-governmental organisations, including the UK Foreign Office, the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, and the European Centre for Minority Issues.
