Public health myths to be challenged at free lecture

TThe myths that have built up about the nanny state in Britain will be exploded in a free lecture in Bath given by one of the country’s leading public health professionals.

Dr Jacky Chambers OBE, a Director of Public Health in Birmingham, will explore the ways that some public health policies gain acceptance and get implemented.

At the lecture, on Thursday February 10 at the University of Bath, Dr Chambers will give her view on what should happen in the future to avoid the myths gaining ground. The lecture takes place in 8West 1.1 at 6-15pm.
