Russian visitors tour campus

A group of senior Russian university managers is visiting the University today (Tuesday) to see how student support is handled here.

The 13 rectors and deputy rectors - the equivalent of our vice-chancellors, and pro-vice-chancellors - are on a Department for Education and Skills-funded trip. Today's visit to Bath is part of a week of events in UK universities.

During their trip, they will visit the Student Money Service, the Learning Support Service, the ICIA, the Chaplaincy, the Library, the Counselling Service, the Careers Advisory Service, the International Office, the Students' Union AWARE office, and the Sports Training Village. The visit is organised by Mark Ames, Head of Student Services.

The Russian visitors are from a variety of institutions, including the Moscow School of Social & Economic Sciences, the Saratov State University, the Vladivostok University of Economics & Service Industries and the Tatar Academy of Business.
