A chance to learn what is on offer at the University of Bath

Local people will find out how they can learn a language, become experts at bridge or be amateur archaeologists at two open days organised by the University of Bath.

The University of Bath is to host two open days for local residents at Carpenter House as part of Adult Learners’ Week 2005. The events will run from 11am-3pm on Saturday 21 May and from 2pm-4pm on Wednesday 25 May; no booking necessary.

The open days will enable residents to find out about many of the non-academic courses available at the University. For example:


Launched in 1992, Adult Learners’ Week is coordinated by the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education and celebrates all forms of adult learning. It recognises the importance of continued education and that learning does not end when people leave school.
