Lunchtime GULPS taste success

Over 200 people in Bath and Swindon have enjoyed the first series of GULP lectures run at lunchtime.

Distinguished local presenters covered literature, history, music and art in a series of four lectures held in October and November at Carpenter House and the Oakfield campus.

Philip Jones, Assistant Director of the Centre for Lifelong Learning said: “The success of the lectures in attracting such large and receptive audiences has exceeded our expectations and is encouraging us to expand the programme in the future.”

Topics for next semester are:

At Carpenter House

At Oakfield

People will be able to book places online at the Centre for Lifelong Learning from later this week, when the new programme of activities is launched.
