Change of plan for Royal visit

Due to the foggy weather conditions, the Prince of Wales will no longer be able to join his wife at the opening of an exhibition at the Holburne Museum of Art in Bath later today.

Instead, the Duchess of Cornwall, who is already in the region, will be driven to the Museum where she will open the Painting The West Country House & Garden collection on her own.

They couple had been scheduled to land by helicopter on the University campus before attending the opening of the exhibition, which includes Jan Siberechts’ View of Longleat and a view of Highgrove commissioned from Felix Kelly and on loan from the Prince.

The Holburne Museum of Art in Great Pulteney Street is the official museum of the University of Bath and staff and students are allowed free entry to exhibitions.
