Volunteers needed: Leukaemia Research Fund street collection - 29 April

Leukaemia Research was established in 1960 and is the only national research charity devoted exclusively to Leukaemia. The charity depends entirely upon voluntary donations much of which is raised by more than 150 voluntary branches across England, Scotland and Wales. The money raised goes towards a wide range of projects from basic laboratory research to clinical trials with patients.

Across the country every day, thousands of our volunteers are raising the money we need to fight leukaemia. Many of the volunteers have personally been affected through the illness of loved one: all are committed to eradicating these diseases through research.

The greatest gift a volunteer can give is time.

The Bath branch of the Leukaemia Research Fund is organising a street collection in the centre of Bath on Saturday the 29th of April. We are looking for volunteers to help with the street collection. Could you spare an hour and a half of your time to help raise money for this worth cause?

Please join us in the fight to eradicate Leukaemia and related diseases.

If you would like to volunteer or need more information please contact volunteer centre at volunteers@bath.ac.uk or 01225 386385.
