UCAS Higher Education Convention may cause delays on campus

A Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) Higher Education Convention is to be held in the Sports Training Village at the University tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday, from 9.30am to 3pm. Around 13,000 visitors are expected over the two days, most arriving by coach entering the University by the main entrance along Norwood Avenue.

Hence this route is likely to be very congested and staff arriving by car are advised to use the Quarry Road entrance to the campus if possible, while bus passengers are advised to leave the bus at the South entrance in case their bus is caught up in traffic congestion.

There will also be an event for parents as well, on Tuesday, from 5pm to 7pm, in the Sports Training Village.
