£2k award to help a student make a difference to humanity

The Ecumenical Chaplaincy Centre is offering students the opportunity to win either one award of £2,000 or two awards of £1,000 each (depending on applications received) to help fund a project of your choice which will make a difference to humanity.

The project or charity can be based anywhere in the world – in the UK or abroad.

Match-funding up to at least 50% of the award will be required. In other words the Chaplaincy is looking for the successful candidate/s to raise at least 50% of the costs themselves. So, if you win an award of £2,000 you will need to raise a further £1,000 yourself, or £500 if two awards of £1000 are made.

Full terms and conditions plus application forms are available from the Chaplaincy Centre or can be downloaded from the Chaplaincy website.

Closing date for applications is Monday 12 February 2007. (The successful applicant(s) will be notified by the 23 March 2007).
