Events planned as part of the Week of the Italian Language in the World

A message from ESML:

The Italian section of the Department of European Studies and Modern Languages and the Government-funded Lector, Silvana Muzzatti, are pleased to announce a programme of events to be held in the University of Bath as part of the Week of the Italian Language in the World. This is an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Cultural Institutes. This year's theme is "Italy and its sea".

The programme extends through two weeks, 23 October-2 November, and consists of three lectures (one by an external speaker, Professor Derek Duncan, from Bristol University), a workshop, four film screenings, and a storytelling evening at the pub.

Flyers are available from Dottoressa Muzzatti's office (1W2.3) or the Italian Notice Board in ESML. See Related Links for more information.
