Architecture student has work selected for Royal Academy

An architecture student has had her work selected to be exhibited at the Royal Academy

Jessica Taylor, in the sixth year of her Master's degree in Architecture, worked on plans for a timber amphitheatre for the Norwegian town of Sandnes as part of a competition.

The work, which features drawings lined up through the medium of a perspex drum, was one of 1,200 entries selected for viewing out of 11,000 submitted. More than 150,000 people saw the Royal Academy's exhibition in London over the summer.

Jessica created her narrative drawings while on a work placement with Edward Cullinan Architects.
