There is still time to apply for an Alumni Fund Grant

The deadline for applications for grants from the Alumni Fund is Friday 14 December.

The Alumni Fund receives gifts from former students who wish to give something back to their University.

It then makes grants available for specific projects which enhance the student experience for current and future students.

Grants can be for any amount from £200 to £6000 (or more in very special cases). Any department, group, society or club may apply.

Examples of previous successful applications include:

Funding is not granted towards normal academic activities or individual conference attendence, nor for ongoing running costs of any activity.

The document gives further information about how projects will be judged. The second page is a cover sheet which should be completed and signed by an appropriate member of University staff, and attached to your proposal document which gives the necessary detail on the project.
