Advice on research governance

Health and social care researchers who use Primary Care Trust patients, patient data, staff or facilities will be able to access advice on research governance at weekly drop-in sessions being run by the School for Health.

The sessions take place every Monday from 2-4pm in Norwood House 5.35 and are organised by the Pan-Bath and Swindon Primary Care Research Consortium to help people applying for NHS research and development approval.

“It is common for aspects relating to research governance to appear on funding application forms and it can be rather confusing,” said Lisa Austin, Research Governance Facilitator for the local Research Consortium.

“The drop-in sessions allow us to assist with the relevant forms and give general advice on research governance and specific advice on applications.”
