University of Bath ‘associate’ wins KTP presentation award

The award for the best presentation at the recent Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) regional seminar went to a KTP ‘associate’ working with the University of Bath - for the second year running.

As part of her presentation, Emma Metcalfe, who is working with the University and BANES Local Education Authority to improve standards of educational in the local area, managed to get the 70 delegates writing poetry without them realising.

The seminar is held annually, and is jointly co-ordinated by University of Bath and the University of the West of England, Bristol. It gives KTP associates the opportunity to present case studies of their business projects to KTP academics, industrial supervisors and sponsors.

This year’s event, which involved seven universities from the south west, was held in Clifton Gardens at Bristol Zoo.
