Ex-Rotork Chief Exec is latest member of Sulis Giving Circle

Alumnus and former Chief Executive of Rotork, Bill Whiteley is the latest member of the University’s Leadership Giving Circles.

Mr Whiteley has given a generous financial gift to the Alumni Fund, which will be used for the Fund’s general purposes – providing more undergraduate scholarships and hardship monies, funding for voluntary placements and entrepreneurial activities, as well as projects which enrich the student experience.

The Sulis Circle is one of two circles set up earlier this year to encourage higher level giving to the University.

Gifts can be made to support research and capital projects as well as scholarships.

Membership is annual and benefits include an invitation to Charter Day and recognition in the University’s Annual Report.

The University currently has over 30 Sulis members.
