University Carol Service in Bath Abbey

This year's University Carol Service will take place on Wednesday 10 December at 7.30pm in Bath Abbey.

There will be a selection of well-known congregational carols, as well as carols from the 16th to the 20th centuries sung by the University Chamber Choir, accompanied by Abbey organist Peter King, and conducted by Michael Painting.

The Service will be led by the University Chaplain, and there will be both biblical and modern readings, given by students and staff from across the University, including the Chancellor, Lord Tugendhat.

Doors open at 7pm, so come early to get a good seat.

All are welcome, including families - though the service is not suitable for very young children.

It is free to attend the Carol Service but there will be a retiring collection for the Oxfam D R Congo Crisis Appeal - see Related Links for more details.
