Students organise wine/beer tasting to raise funds for Prince's Trust

Five entrepreneurial students from the University of Bath have teamed up to form Bath VISION and are putting their talents to the test for a great cause.

Bath VISION is made up of Steven Moyse - Chemistry; Kyle Fortna - Mech Eng; Bing Mo, Jie Zhao and Daniel Litscher - Economics.

The team is participating in this year’s Profitunity! competition and will be competing against other student teams from across the UK to raise money for The Prince’s Trust.

Various innovative events planned by Bath VISION over the next few months will aim to give something back to the local community whilst raising vital funds to help young people overcome barriers and get their lives back on together.

International wine & beer tasting - Tuesday 11 March

Tonight (11 March) Bath VISION is hosting an international wine and beer tasting event, in the Chapel Row Gallery.

This will be a chance for local people to try out a selection of excellent wines and beers, learn about the important work the Trust carries out every day and even pick up a few tips from professional wine tasters.

To reserve your tickets, please call Daniel Litscher on 07884 295047. Alternatively, email Bath VISION for further details or queries.

The Prince’s Trust is the UK’s leading youth charity, helping young people aged 14-30 to realise their potential. The Trust offers practical support and guidance to help young people develop the skills and confidence they need to get their lives back on track.

There are currently 1.2 million young people in the UK not in education, employment or training. The Prince’s Trust aims to help over 100 more young people every day and the fundraising efforts of the Bath VISION team members will change lives and help The Trust reach those individuals who need our help the most.

“The Prince’s Trust listened and gave me choices I never knew about. They knew about my background but they supported me anyway. They gave me the chance to show who I am and what I can do.” – Andy Bowley
