Three-minute silence for victims of Chinese earthquake and cyclone in Burma

You are invited to participate in a three-minute silence to take place on the Parade near the Library at noon on Tuesday 27 May as a mark of respect for all the victims of the Chinese earthquake and the cyclone in Burma.

In the case of rain, the act of solidarity will take place in the Chaplaincy Centre.

The silence will be led by Mother Sarah, the Assistant University Chaplain.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Many thanks to all those who responded to RAG's call to contribute to the DEC appeal for the cyclone in Burma.

The Students' Union has launched a week-long appeal in response to the devastating earthquake in the Sichuan province of China. For full details of how you can help, please see Related Links section.
