Bath ranked 15th in Times Good University Guide

The University of Bath has been ranked 15th of 113 universities in the UK by the Times Good University Guide 2009 which is published today. We came 7th for graduate prospects, 9th for completion rates and 10th for good honours.

Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching), Professor Ian Jamieson, said: “Our strong performance in the employment indicator is a result of the effort we put into curriculum enhancement, placement activities and personal development. Employers are looking for graduates with core knowledge and skills but they are also looking for well-rounded individuals. Studying at Bath offers a wide range of opportunities, both educational and extra-curricular.

“Our completion rates are particularly pleasing because they reflect the supportive learning environment we offer and our strong sense of community.”
