Press Release - 08 February 2007Free public lecture: religion and conflict in Northern IrelandLocal people can reflect on the role of faith in the conflict in Northern Ireland, in a free public lecture at the University of Bath in Swindon on Wednesday 14 February. Speaker Duncan Morrow will share his experiences of working in the community, including as Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Ireland Community Relations Council which funds and develops inter-community relations practice and policy in Northern Ireland. Mr Morrow will also draw on his time as a politics lecturer at the University of Ulster, where he had a particular interest in ethnic conflict, religion and violence. The lecture is run in association with Swindon Churches together. Admission and parking for the lecture is free and people can just turn up on the evening. The lecture runs from 5.30pm until 6.30pm in the main hall at the Oakfield campus.
