New Iron Age settlement on Bathampton Down: news unveiled at Uni of Bath

News of a newly-discovered Iron Age settlement on Bathampton Down is to be revealed to the public for the first time at the University of Bath next week (23 February).
It will be part of the ‘The pre-history of Bathampton Down - Bath's Sacred Landscape’ lecture being organised by the Division for Lifelong Learning. The lecture takes place on the main University campus at Claverton Down in 8 West, Room 1.1 and run from 5.15pm to 6.30pm.

Free places available for HE taster workshop for 16-19 year olds

Free places are still available on a three-day non-residential workshop Build a Working Engine, which is being held at Swindon College in partnership with the University of Bath. The workshop is aimed at 16-19 years olds and it will run from 7-9 July, between 9am and 4pm at Swindon College's North Star Campus. The workshop will offer young people who are interested in engineering a taster of what it would be like to study the subject at degree level.
