Please don't use the Medical Centre car park on Monday as the area at the front of the building is being resurfaced. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Pedestrian access will still be possible from North Road for the duration of the works.

MMR vaccination call - recent measles cases in students

Public Health England (PHE) have called for students to check they have had two doses of Measles Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccine following recent measles cases at universities in the South of England.

Death of Dr Sandy Neill

We regret to announce the recent death of Dr A.E. (Sandy) Neill, aged 88. Dr Neill was the University’s first Medical Officer; he will be remembered for the work he did which led to the setting up of the Medical Centre when Quarry House was acquired.

Some advice about Mumps from Student Services as a few cases have been identified among our students

Uni Medical Centre - Travel Clinic open to all staff and students

You do not need to be a registered patients at the Medical Centre to visit their Travel Clinic, which offers a full range of vaccinations and is a registered Yellow Fever centre. A charge will be made for certain vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS.
