Summer degree ceremonies to take place at Bath Abbey

The University of Bath’s 2011 summer degree award ceremonies take place next week, with more than 2,000 students expected to attend at the city’s Abbey.
The ten ceremonies will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (5, 6, & 7 July), with awards made to nine honorary graduates for outstanding achievements spanning the fields of arts, science and medicine, engineering, business and policy-making.

Public lecture: Research in the World Series - Creative tensions between science & technology

A public lecture at the University will look at recent debate on the role and affordability of scientific research. The event is free but tickets are required. It takes place at 18.15 on 5 April 2011 in Lecture Theatre 5 West 2.4.
