SAMIS unavailable: Wed & Thu

SAMIS requires a significant upgrade and, as recommended by our software supplier, we have set aside two days to complete the work. A number of applications will be unavailable.

Launch of pilot for new email platform

Staff in the Library are to be the first user testing group of our new email platform using Microsoft Exchange.

Save your work & log out - IT maintenance: Sat 13-Sun 14 Dec

All users should ensure they have logged out of University managed PCs on Friday 12 December. During the maintenance window, please do not attempt to log into managed computers on campus or connect to remote services; even if you are able to connect you will see error messages and any work you undertake is unlikely to be saved.

files.bath simplifies the way you access your University files from your H: and X: drives so you can work on them on your own device(s).

Beware scam phishing emails from HMRC

We are aware that people are receiving scam phishing emails which claim to be from HMRC. If you went to the HMRC lookalike page and submitted credit card details, please call your financial institution.

Beware virus spam emails from Prospect Recruitment about job application

If you have followed the web page link and downloaded the file your own computer may have a virus and you should run your anti-virus software as soon as possible.

The University's new High Performance Computing (HPC) service (Balena) is being installed and will be available to users in the near future

BOXi users: changes to Deski login (unless using saved reports)

Following maintenance on the server, you need to type in the System box when you next log in; if you need to run saved reports login using the old system name of STRUCTURE:6400.
