QuBit Digital, an online data solutions company founded by four ex-Google employees including former School of Management students Ian McCaig and Dan Shellard, was nominated in the Best Business or Enterprise Startup category. The award was eventually won by the Danish social working platform Podio, but Ian and Dan were delighted with the exposure and prestige that the nomination brought to QuBit.
