Access arrangements to the STV are changing

In the new year there will be some changes to the way you can access the Sports Training village. There will be free access on the upper viewing areas, lecture rooms and Sports Café. Access to all the sports venues will be via the lower reception using a Mifare membership proximity card. University staff and students do NOT need a new card but can continue to use their library cards. Other members must be issued with a new card.

University hosts ministerial visit from Brunei

The University hosted the Bruneian Minister of Culture, Youth & Sports, the Hon Pehin Hj Hazair Hj Abdullah of Brunei, as part of a one-week official visit to the UK. The Minister visited Bath for advice across the whole of his portfolio, but with particular emphasis on sport, culture and the creative industries.

Changes to sport charges for staff

A number of changes are due to come into effect from next Monday (14 November) in relation to what staff pay to use the sports facilities on campus. These changes have been introduced to bring staff charges in line with the recently introduced charges for students (the ‘Sports Pass’). From 14 November onwards University staff will pay to use all sports facilities but will receive a 15 per cent discount on the headline public rates.
