Kids in pain: documentary shows how teens learn to live with pain
The Pain Management Unit's service that helps children and adolescents who suffer from long-term pain will be highlighted in a Channel 4 documentary on Sunday (When the drugs don't work, 3 June, 8.20am).
PhD student triumphs in Britain's longest non-stop footrace
Over the bank holiday, PhD student Tim Holsgrove won Britain's longest non-stop footrace:
145 miles (the equivalent of almost six marathons) from Birmingham to London along the Grand Union Canal in 29 hours 39 minutes.
Student Formula Car unveiled
The University of Bath's 2007 Formula Student Car has been launched this week.
It will be raced at Silverstone on 14 & 15 July against 75 teams from universities around the world. University of Bath ‘associate' wins KTP presentation award

Local business people can get practical advice to kick-start their sales and profits in a seminar on Tuesday 19 June at the University of Bath in Swindon, which is to be given by Robert Craven, one of the UK's best-known speakers on entrepreneurship.
Epic seminar offers adventurous route to success
Entitled Epics, journeys and other adventures, a seminar at the Oakfield campus on Monday 11 June will turn to stories and storytelling, looking at traditional adventure tales to reveal powerful lessons for people starting, or already running, a business.

Implementation of Agresso finance system
The introduction of Agresso as the University's finance system will see changes in the way that users order goods and services from a number of internal providers – Catering & Hospitality Services;
Imaging, Design & Print Services; Estates and IT Purchasing. All users are invited to a series of briefings on the internal trade process to take place in the coming weeks.

Franz Kafka's The Trial - 8 & 9 June,
Museum of Bath at Work
Over the coming few months, Bath University Student Theatre (BUST) will be taking a production of Franz Kafka's novel The Trial, adapted by Steven Berkoff, to three fringe festivals around the UK: Bath, Buxton and Cambridge. Vote for your favourite painting
The University is currently running a competition to promote new painting on the theme of innovation and enterprise. There are two prizes up for grabs: the University of Bath Painting Prize and the University Choice Prize for the artist whose painting receives the most votes from staff and students. Please feel free to go to the University Hall Foyer and view the shortlisted entries.
Team Bath netballers through to Superleague final
Team Bath will defend their Superleague title on 9 June after navigating through last weekend's play-off semi-final against Mavericks at the University's Sports Training Village in a contest that was keenly fought, especially in the first half.
