Lifetime achievement award for researcher
Mike Barron, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Civil
Engineering, has been awarded the prestigious Rayleigh Medal from the
Institute of Acoustics.
TV presenter to give Science Week lecture in bath
TV personality Adam Hart Davis will be giving a free public lecture
at the University of Bath to kick-start the National Science Week celebrations
next month (University Hall, 7.00pm, Wednesday 8 March 2006).

new “porn star” of popular culture, according to an American
academic speaking at a public lecture at the University of Bath next

Local people can hear about how the Cotswolds have revealed secrets about
the daily lives of the Neolithic communities at a free public lecture
at the University of Bath in Swindon next week (Wednesday 8 February).

English is increasingly referred to as a "global", a "world" or
an "international" language. A free lecture at the University
of Bath will consider what this really means and the issues it raises.
