University "pleased" to be placed in top ten by The Guardian
The University's position of ninth in the table is the same as last year, and means the University is the highest-placed in the south west region.
In nine subject areas Bath is placed in the top ten of UK universities: Architecture; Business & Management Studies; Engineering: Chemical; Engineering: Materials & Mineral; Modern Languages; Pharmacy & Pharmacology; Social Policy & Administration; Social Work; Sports Science. (Note:

Chaplaincy awards money to help students help humanity
Nine students from the University will be travelling overseas to make a difference this summer, with the help of the Ecumenical Chaplaincy Centre, who are part funding aid projects chosen by the students.

Students design new bridge for Quarry Road

Sports Personality of the Year
Rower David Lyons has been voted Sports Personality of the Year by University of Bath students. The award was presented at the 34th annual Blues Awards on Wednesday at Bath Assembly Rooms.
Young, Ward and Rice among winners at TeamBath Open
University of Bath students Andrew Young, Stacey Ward and Lloyd Rice were among those to make a strong start to the outdoor season at the Team Bath Open athletes meeting. Rushgrove to race at Visa Paralympic World Cup
University of Bath student sprinter Ben Rushgrove will race at his first Visa Paralympic World Cup next week. The 19-year-old Sports Performance student will contest the T36 100m and 200m sprints at the event, which takes place in Manchester.
