Ian Sutherland, the founding Director of Julian House, Bath’s charity for homeless men and women, has received an honorary degree at the University of Bath’s Summer Award ceremonies.
Team GB snowboarder take times off piste to receive degree in Bath
Jamie Barrow who has juggled his studies with practising on the slopes has graduated with a BSc (Honours) Sports Performance degree. Jamie has been on the British Snowboard Cross Team since the age of 15 and has competed on the FIS and Europa Cup circuit since he was 16.

Graduate on target for a great Olympic experience
When the first medal ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics gets underway at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich on Saturday 28 July, Bath graduate Rachel Spry will be there as part of the events team running the Olympic shooting competition.
