Robots, slime and school pupils share the fun of science
Over 60 school children from the Bath area will be sharing their excitement for science as part of the Bath Taps into Science festival organised for National Science & Engineering Week (9 & 10 March).

To help raise funds for next week’s Red Nose Day (16 March), staff in BUCS have developed a downloadable Red Nose Day mouse cursor for staff and students.

Nominations are invited for The Chancellor's Prize. The prize is awarded to the best final year undergraduate student.

International Student Barometer
Professor Jane Millar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Developments), invites international students to complete the Student Barometer survey.

Imaging, design & print services refurbishment
The Print Unit located in 8 West is undergoing a major refurbishment to improve its facilities and to accommodate a new design suite and customer service area.

Recycle bins arrive on campus
There are new recycling bins on the Claverton campus; these are part of the University's on-going commitment to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill.

UCAS convention will bring changes to car parking on campus
The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) Convention will be held at the Sports Training Village on Monday and Tuesday (12 and 13 March). Part of the East car park will be roped off for coaches.

Free Saturday campus tours for prospective students reintroduced
The University has reintroduced free Saturday tours of its campus for prospective students.

  • City of Angels by Cy Coleman (Wednesday 14 - Saturday 17 March), ICIA Arts Theatre. Tickets £7, Concs & BUSU £5. Following the success of Sweet Charity, BUSMS are back with this awesome musical. Set in 1940s glamorous seductive Hollywood, it chronicles the misadventures of Stine, a young novelist, attempting a screenplay for movie producer/director, Buddy Fidler.

Bath Bullet Jason Gardener won an historic fourth successive 60m title at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Birmingham. Training partners Dale Garland and Steve Green also won golds for GB in a dramatic 4×400m relay.

Students Young and Nurse take Team Bath Road Race titles
