Students to be coached on becoming entrepreneurs
More than 200 students from all over the country will learn about some of the skills they will need to become the next Alan Sugar or Anita Roddick at a conference on campus next week (9am - 8.30pm, Thursday 16 November 2006).

BP book prizes awarded to Chem Eng students
Fifty Bath students were awarded the BP Book Prize having gained a B grade or better at the end of their first year. This represents

Science Cafe discussion: is scientific openness fostering bioterror?
Dr James Randerson, the Guardian journalist who investigated whether publicly-available gene ‘blueprints' could be used to manufacture viruses, will lead a discussion in Bath on whether scientific openness is fostering bioterrorism (7.30pm, Monday 13 November 2006). Dr Randerson studied for his PhD at Bath.
Bath's two universities join forces for arts events
The University of Bath and Bath Spa University join together to present two very different events in the lead up to Christmas. Nearly 70 students will be taking part in the performances, both open to the public.
