Electronic displays that fit on clothing could power revolution in lighting
An international research project led by the University of Bath has begun that could help bring to mass-market devices which could have far reaching technological implications and cut the cost of lighting by billion of pounds each year.

The British Army today: join the debate

Bath Karate Club win overall BUSA title
The University of Bath Karate Club triumphed on home soil last weekend, finally winning the BUSA Karate Championships with a largest-ever medal haul for the club, along with the biggest overall points win in BUSA Karate history. Bath (64 points) beat Edinburgh into second (32 points), with Nottingham coming third (19 points). Overall, the club won the showcase male team kumite event for the second time in three years, along with six golds, six silvers and eight bronze.
Third Real Varsity clash of the titans scheduled
The University of Bath rugby XV and Loughborough University go head-to-head in the third annual Real Varsity match at Bath Rugby's famous Recreation Ground on 30 April.
A dozen Team Bath netballers in England squads
A dozen Team Bath netballers have been named in England squads to play matches against the top two teams in the world – New Zealand and Australia – next month.
Zambian Project visit to House of Commons
Representatives of Sport in Action and EduSport from Zambia, met with Andrew Reed, MP, at the House of Commons. The visitors, accompanied by Ed Vahid and Nicky Fossey-Lewis from the staff of the University of Bath, were able to tell Mr Reed about the unique project which is being supported by six UK Universities including Bath.
