Proposed closure of north services road
Estates needs to carry out resurfacing work to the northern access road, which runs from the Founders Hall at one end, up past the Department of Estates, 3 East, 1 West North, 3 West North, the Accommodation Services Centre, Westwood Nursery, 7 West and down the side of 9 West. This will involve the temporary closure of all car parks and parking facilities along the road, and the loss of access for all delivery and service areas leading off the North Road. It is proposed to undertake these works during week commencing 15 December 2008, as this is out of term time and therefore a quieter period than usual. We would welcome feedback whether this proposal will cause significant difficulties to any group or individual.
