University heating
The warm up of the University district heating system will start next week. This is a few days later than usual due to engineering problems. Warming up takes several days to allow the pipes to expand slowly. Heating systems in each individual building will be turned on separately and checked for problems, so not all buildings will come on at the same time. Please report any heating related problems via the Estates Helpdesk: Ext 3232. Arrival of freshers
The University community is reminded that freshers will start arriving from the morning of Monday 25 September 2006 and should all be on campus by the end of Wednesday afternoon; there will be some traffic flow arrangements and parking restrictions in place. Thank you for your patience. Fresh Oriental opens on Monday
